IS Liverpool’s star man Raul Meireles on his way to Chelsea? Well, the Daily Mail says he might be.
Chelsea are considering a move for Liverpool midfielder Raul Meireles as they contemplate an improved offer for Luka Modric… However, Andre Villas-Boas knows him well from their time at Porto and is interested to see if a deal could be done. Liverpool want close to £12m for the 28-year-old who was voted the PFA Fans Player of the Year.”
How well? Well, Villas-Boas was announced as new Porto manager on 2 June 2010.
On 29 August 2010, Meireles moved to Liverpool.
