Gunther von Hagens crucifies Jesus for Good telly (photos)

DR Gunther von Hagens, aka Germany’s Dr Death (many have held that title but not all made it big on the telly), has created a new Crucifixion in time for Easter Monday on Channel 4.

This Easter Day you can watch a plastinated Jesus — the water in cells is replace by plastics that prevent decay – hanging on a cross. Von Hagen’s Christ-figure is made from human corpses. You get to see all the blood of Christ and decide how best to untangle it. Anorak suggests starting at the top and turning the object into Skipping Ropes for Jesus.

It being what Josef Mengele would have wanted…
