IMAGINE having a stalker. Horrible eh? Someone pestering you all the time like a toddler with a rapacious sexual appetite and a bag filled with your shaving scum. Well, Alec Baldwin has accused a woman named Genevieve Sabourin of stalking him after she started sending “a series of annoying and unsolicited communications” to the actor.

However, he first had dinner with her in 2010. Nice work. She probably swabbed his dinner plate for DNA and is cloning another Baldwin brother right now.

The lady in question, Genevieve Sabourin, was arrested by the NYPD on five misdemeanour counts of harassment and stalking after she appeared at Baldwin’s Manhattan home. She’d already appeared at a Lincoln Center movie screening hosted by Baldwin, which apparently caused him “anxiety, annoyance and fear,” or so says the court filing. In fairness, ‘anxiety, annoyance and fear’ is something 99% of the human race feels at all times.

The emails sent to Baldwin were quite choice in places. One said:

“I NEED TO START MY NEW LIFE, WITH MY NEW NAME, WITH MY NEW CARRIER IN MY NEW COUNTRY HELP MY NEWLY HUSBAND, YOU!”

“I NEED YOU NOW, PLEASE ALEC COME AND PICK ME UP NOW. I AM LESS THAN 10 MIN AWAY FROM YOU TONIGHT. SAY I DO TO ME!”

“I HOPE I DID GOOD ENOUGH LAST NIGHT FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS. I HOPE I DID NOT RUIN EVERYTHING BY MY LACK OF FREEDOM AND PASSIVE ACTIONS…IHATE MYSELF FOR BEING SO PASSIVE. BUT I AM EXHAUSTED AND I DON’T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO, THEN PROTECT MYSELF, I AM VERY WEAK NOW AND VULNERABLE…AND SO, I PLAYED DEFENSIVE INSTEAD OF GOING FOR IT. I AM SO SORRY, I DID NOT KNOW.”

She’s keen and, clearly, got a broken CAPS key. Still, nice of us to be able to share confidential (and barking mad) emails with you all, eh?
