Daily Express hate TV repeats – broadcasts Ben Hur

by | 25th, December 2012

WHAT’S on the telly at Christmas? The Daily Express is worried:

“Christmas viewers will be deluged with almost 100 hours of repeats. A Sunday Express study of the 2012 schedules found that a staggering level of old series and re-run films will be broadcast by the three main channels over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day…”

The paper’s study does not mention the broadcasters owned by Express proprietor Richard Desmond. Channel Five today broadcasts such new shows as : Gone With The Wind (1939), Ben Hur (1959) and The Greatest TV Christmas Moments (spoiler: this show is not one of them but snippets of others might be),.

Over on Mr Desmond’s Fantasy Channel it’s not much better with Anna Span’s Party (2001) and Layla Jade does Hollywood (2010).

Pass the stuffing…
