Police scare thieves into surrender by barking like dogs

THE police are barking in New Haven, Connecticut. After a chase, they’ve cornered two men at a residential block in Elm City.

Kwame Wells-Jordan, 20, of Hamden and Norman Boone, 23, of New Haven, are in the stairwell of the home. A family a trapped in their flat. The police arrive. They threaten to release the hounds. Only, they don’t have any. So, the officers start barkingĀ like dogs. The two man panic. They give themselves up.

Gideon Gurley, witnessed the incident:

“They were trained. These cops were trained to do stuff like that. I guess that was the best technique to do what they needed to do to get people out.”
