FOOTBALL referee Martin Wekesa wants $US240,000 compensation from his bosses at the FKF following an alleged assault in a game in September 2012. Mr Wekesa says he was assaulted by members of the Sparki Youth team and “attacked in my private parts” by a memeber of the coaching staff, one Daudi Kajembe.
Mr Wekesa had red-carded a  Sparki player when it all kicked off.
<em”He pulled my testicles. He actually pressed them and I was hanging on him when he was pulling me. I was crying and could not get myself out from his hands. I remember Kajembe told me, raising his hand, ‘I can kill you in a minute,’ and came directly to my testicles.”
A police officer came to help. But it was too late. Mr Wekesa claims he is no unable to have sex.
“It is so painful, painful, painful in my areas.”

Says Mr Mary Wekesa, the ref’s wife:

“We used to live as wife and husband. Nowadays we don’t, so that’s how the life has changed.”

Mr Kajembe pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm.
