NEW York illiberal censorious fat-hating mayor Michael Bloomberg wanted a second slice of pizza at Collegno’s Pizzeria, Brooklyn, reports the Daily Currant spoof news site. The owner, Antonio Benito, he couldn’t.

The exchange reportedly went like this:

Bloomberg: “Hey, could I get another pepperoni over here?”

Antonio Benito: “I’m sorry sir, we can’t do that. You’ve reached your personal slice limit.”

Bloomberg: “OK, that’s funny because of the soda thing … No come on. I’m not kidding. I haven’t eaten all morning, just send over another pepperoni.”

AB: “I’m sorry sir. We’re serious. We’ve decided that eating more than one piece isn’t healthy for you, and so we’re forbidding you from doing it.”

Bloomberg: “Look jackass. I fucking skipped breakfast this morning just so I could eat four slices of your pizza. Don’t be a schmuck, just get back to the kitchen and bring out some fucking pizza, okay.”

AB: “I’m sorry sir, there’s nothing I can do. Maybe you could go to several restaurants and get one slice at each. At least that way you’re walking. You know, burning calories.”

Bloomberg wants to pass law limiting the size of of sweetened beverages served in restaurants to 16 oz . The Currant has nailed him. If only the exchange were true…

Update: Many seem to have taken the story as true. Their reactions are almost as funny:

Good for the Owner of the Pizzeria! That should teach Bloomberg to mind his own business and to quit acting like he’s King of NY. What goes around comes around. I think the potty mouth Mayor may have learned something today.  – Joyce Foster-Konya 2 hours ago

Demonic rats are Czars of hypocrisy, at least he’s not looting as fraud and the muslim brotherhood, Chicago gang. – Elba M. Saravia

For those of you that say this isn’t true, PLEASE share your proof. – Ronald A. Dixon

And:

Makes me want to go to New York, just to give Collegno’s some thank-you business. – Phineas

And:

note that the conservative was polite, firm, but polite. The liberal (tolerant isn’t he), goes off and uses language to make a sailor proud. I would have had him removed for language and disturbing other customers.
