THE sloths at Drusillas Park , Alfriston, East Sussex, have yet to breed. Sofia and male Tupee were introduced in 2011. And still nothing. What could be wrong? Well, it turns out that Sophia is male.

Head keeper Mark Kenward explains:

“We are going to have to find a more suitable name for Sofia. We had never looked after sloths before and were relying on the information provided. Unfortunately we cannot keep our two boys together and it would also be a waste of their breeding potential.”

What about love, Mark? What about that?
