BRITISH artists Jamie Wardley and Andy Moss etched 9,000 bodies of the many who died in the D-Day Normandy invasion. The Fallen 9000...

…was to mark Peace Day. The people on the beach represented the 9000 civilians, German and Allied Forces that died on the 6th June D-Day landing conflict. This is an example of what happens in the absence of peace and is a visual representation to help us understand the loss of 9000 people.
