THREE Israeli teenagers have been kidnapped by Islamists.

Naftali Frenkel and Gilad Shaar, both 16, and 19-year-old Eyal Yifrach were hitchhiking their way home when they vanished.

Israeli military spokesman Lt Col Peter Lerner makes a statement:

“As long as our boys remain abducted, Hamas will feel pursued, paralysed and threatened. We are committed to resolving the kidnapping and debilitating Hamas terrorist capacities, its infrastructure and its recruiting institutions.”

The Israelis want to smash Hamas.  The country’s Economy Minister Naftali Bennett, told Israeli Army Radio.

“We will bring about a situation in which Hamas people will become a nuisance for the Palestinian population, and that their presence in [the West Bank] will cause harm everywhere.”

Is that message reaching the people? Not all of them, no. Take this image of Palestinian children on a trip to Temple Mount., sponsored by Israel’s police department.

Those three-fingers are a reference to the three missing teenagers.

Those Hamas kids are trained do love death:

The EU has condemned “in the strongest terms the abduction of three Israeli students in the West Bank and [we] call for their immediate release and safe return to their families. Such acts can only undermine international efforts to encourage a resumption of peace negotiations.”

But the kidnappings seem popular with Hamas.

Palestinian supporters of Hamas raise hand gestures including three raised fingers, a sign of their support for the recent abduction of three missing Israeli teens, during a protest against a recent arrest of their comrades by Israeli soldiers, in the West Bank city of Hebron, Friday, June 20, 2014.

And those Hamas-run school holiday adventure scout camps are doing good trade:

But it’s not without hope:
