MADELEINE McCann is back in the news.

AN ex-soldier has claimed he spotted a girl he believes was Madeleine McCann at a Spanish beach resort, reports said today.
Did he shout her name? Take a photo?
The unnamed man said the blonde youngster was speaking Spanish with an English accent at a hotel pool in La Herradura on Southern Spain’s Costa del Sol.
Got that? The most wanted child was at a hotel pool.
He said that after realising it matched an e-fit of what the snatched girl may look like today, he contacted police in Britain.
The girl looked like what Madeleine could look like now.
He tells the The Olive Press:
“A Spanish couple were by the pool with a very Spanish daughter and a blonde, white-skinned girl who looked English and spoke with an English accent. I felt I had to report this, even if it leads to nothing.”
How Spanish is ‘very Spanish?’ Was she wearing Flamenco dress by the pool, or stabbing a rampaging bull in the neck?
It’s a story short on facts. How does it make it into the national Press?
