Don kept his amputated foot and made a film

DON kept his amputated foot and made series of low-budget YouTube videos with it. Doubtless inspired by Oscar-winning My Left Foot, Don’s Right Foot is a story of one man who wants to show off his severed foot. What it lacks in plot, acting, script and drama, it more than compensates up for in toes and Don’s competitive streak that began with him collecting a belly button fluff and ended up with body parts….

HEAR the one about the French bulldog that “adopted a newborn litter of six German wild boars”?

It’s the kind of joined-up Franco-German harmony we’ve gotten used to. One days the pigdogs will rule Europe (again). But the best bit about this story is the word “adopts”. Did the dog fill in forms, and undergo credit and criminal checks?

The eight-year-old dog, called Baby, lives as a pet at the Lehnitz animal sanctuary in Brandenburg. She pricked up her ears when the six little pigs were brought in – she has previously adopted kittens, rabbits and even a raccoon, sanctuary worker Norbert Damm told The Local.

Police find stolen TV was too wide for window under victim’s bed

TO Paignton, Devon, where a middle-aged woman is bewailing the theft of her 52 inch flatscreen TV. The victim tells police the telly has been taken through her lounge window. And that’s magic, because the telly is wider than the window.

The police return to the crime scene and armed with a search warrant and found the television under an upstairs bed.

Says Det Insp Nick Wilden, of Torbay police:

“When we looked into this allegation we discovered the window was smaller than the TV. We sent two detectives back to see her and the TV was found upstairs hidden under the bed. She was issued with an £80 fixed-penalty fine for wasting police time. She was lucky. She was a woman in her 40s, of previous good character and that’s why she wasn’t arrested for perverting the course of justice.”

Student hurt by bottle rocket fired from student’s anus – sues

HEAR the one about the student who sued after being struck up his anus by a bottle rocket fired from another student’s anus? Louis Helmburg III is suing The Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity Inc., of Huntington, West Virginia, and fraternity member Travis Hughes.

The papers lodged with Cabell County Court claims that at 1:30 a.m. on May 1, 2011, a student in a “drunken stupor” thought ” “it would be a good idea to shoot bottle rockets out of his anus”. Sadly, “instead of launching, the bottle rocket blew up in the defendant’s rectum, and this startled the plaintiff and caused him to jump back”. He duly fell 4 feet to the ground from the fraternity’s deck. Louis Helmburg III puts it to the law that “firing bottle rockets out of one’s own anus constitutes an ‘ultra-hazardous’ activity”.

Discuss.
