Dangling from the centre of the ceiling was an impressive chandelier; around the room were boudoir-style mirrors; everywhere were lavish touches of shocking pink – feathers, flowers and sequins featuring heavily.
Then the guests began to arrive. And that meant yet more top shelf celebrities. Like Holly Willoughby from an early-morning childrens TV show. Big Brothers Orlaith McAllister (Katie is one my idols along with Marilyn Monroe). And Kelli Young from Liberty X.
Impressive stuff. And when you know Vanessa Feltz was already in situ, you finally realise that this was the real deal. Hang the fact that Princess Jordan and her new husband hardly knew some of the gathered celebs, and just know that they, like we, had come to pay their respects.
And how can you not respect a couple that so demands it, and are sat on huge pink thrones..?’
