THE WORLD’S GREATEST NEWSPAPER brings the news that the McCanns’ “struggle to keep their spirits up by constantly reassuring each other: ‘Today could be the day Madeleine comes home.’”
The so-called “secret prayer” was revealed in the course of a long statement by Kate McCann, presumably in the course of a not-very-secret press conference.
The paper reports that the McCanns have been “persuaded to move back to their £600,000 home”.
DAILY TELEGRAPH page 6: McCanns call for Euro register of offenders.
The Telegraph reports that the McCanns were shocked to find that parts of Europe were safe havens for sex offenders.
DAILY MAIL page 25: Maddie mother’s 4 months of agony
The paper says Kate McCann has told how her world ‘fell apart’ and could scarcely believe so long had passed since she last heard her daughter’s giggle.
DAILY MIRROR page 27: KATE TELLS OF AGONY: ‘It’s four months since we’ve heard her laugh, seen her smile, cuddled her.. Each day we say, today could be the day Madeleine comes home.. we have to keep hoping’
The paper says that in Rothley, Leicestershire, “locals re-created a chain of hope using yellow and green ribbons”. This was first done by church-goers in Praia da Luz.
THE STAR page 22: PALS FEAR MADDIE DAD CRACKING UP
The paper brings us the story of Gerry “storming” out of a TV interview last week.
THE SUN page 19: Maddie words of comfort
The paper says that the couple repeat a mantra in Portuguese, that was given them by the priest who spoke at the first Sunday Mass after Madeleine’s disappearance. Translated, it means “hope, strength, courage”.
THE INDEPENDENT, THE TIMES and THE GUARDIAN: No Madeleine news today.

Dear Moderator,
Clearly you do not know Catholic teaching on IVF - PLease refer to the Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraphs 2373 - 2379 particularly, 2377 which states that even techniques involving only the married couple…remain morally unacceptable. They disassociate the sexual act from the procreative act. Also, embryo donation is NOT allowed. There is also the question of how the semen is gathered outside of the sexual act, involving masturbation again not approved of by the Catholic church. There are numerous articles in the Catholic press denouncing IVF treatment. It is bizarre that they got to see the Pope, but that was arranged by Cardinal Cormac O’Connor, and he probably didn’t know anything about the IVF at that time, it was all to do with a missing little girl.

It’s all a mistake about Johnathan. He didn’t do anything. I did’t think he did anything. He was actually helpful. I AM SORRY JOHNATHAN. Just to be clear, I do not know anything about Alice or Edna or whoever, not to the best of my knowledge. NO.
Considering I have followed the case I like to read the posts. Hopefully the new evidence will be helpful.

Lost in the mists of time, some of you criticised me for my postings. Have a look back over the last 30 or so posts and tell me that I am wrong when I accused users of this forum of being sad acts. Seems like Madeleine soon becomes a secondary issue where the battle of grossly inflated ego’s is concerned.

Spudgun, I mean, Bulldump, I do not know what you are talking about. And I find it offensive that you are now accusing me of being someone I am not. my IP address has never been used on this forum before. How do I know that? Because of two reasons:
1) I have never been a registered user on this forum before.
2) I moved to a new house On the 31st of August. Last week and have a new computer and new IP address.
3) You do not have my IP address so please tell me where you are coming from?
On the otherhand, You and Bulldump are the same person. You have two PC’s and two different ISP’s and you use different user names depending upon which location you are at.
