It is great for Joe to finally receive the acclaim he richly deserves (and has done since his ABA) days, but how many of those including Zoe, 25, from London actually realised or understood what they were witnessing.
An equally momentous boxing achievement was occurring in Chicago at around the same time. Young Birmingham fighter Frankie Gavin won Gold at the Amatuer World Championships. To put Frankie’s achievement into perspective - no other British fighter has ever won gold at the World’s.
Congrats to Joe and Frankie. And well done to Anorak for running a story that combines boxing and topless young women.
