TIGER Woods is back, golf is saved! After eight months in the physio room with a crocked knee, the world’s best golfer returned to action in the Accenture Match Play Championship. He won his first match, against Aussie Brendan Jones, but couldn’t get the measure of South Africa’s Tim Clark, losing 4 and 2 in yesterday’s second-round match-up.
Where do you go from here, Tiger was asked after the shock defeat? “To the airport,” he replied, accurately and with a side dish of deadpan.
