Jenson Button burns buttock in Bahrain GP victory

JENSON Button scorched to victory in Sunday’s Bahrain Grand Prix, stretching his lead at the top of the F1 drivers’ championship to 12 points. Button’s Brawn GP team-mate, Rubens Barrichello, lies second in the table.

Button’s fautless win came at a cost though…

It was so hot in Bahrain, that Button scalded a delicate part of his anatomy. He said:

“Wow, it was so hot out there! It was really bad. The boxes around where I was sitting got really hot — I burnt the top of my left buttock.”

Runner-up Sebastian Vettel offered sympathy, which Button responded to with a joke: “I’ll get you to stroke it better later!” the revitalised Englishman said in the post-race press conference. The cheek. Ahem.
