Britain’s Got Talent: Sue Son Says Cowell ‘Ruined My Life’
IN “SIMON RUINED MY LIFE,” Britain’s Got Talent’s “sensation” Sue Son tells Star readers about her post-show life.
VIOLIN sensation Sue Son says Britain’s Got Talent Judge Simon Cowell has RUINED her greatest friendship.
As Anorak readers know, Cowell viewed Sue Son and her friend Jane (“Janice!” Yeah, whatever). He rejected the less photogenic one, telling Sue to come back and perform alone.
What with her even face, short skirt and raw fanciability Sue could be Cowell’s Vanessa Mae. And Sue returned – alone - to play a tune Vanessa Mae made her own.
The girls’ families “are now embroiled in a feud… Things have become so bad that there’s even been angry phone calls in the middle of the night..”
Says Sue:
“After that first audition Janine said that she would have done exactly the same thing if she was me.”
Albeit with a less even face and a keyboard.
“I thought everything was fine. Later she admitted she was devastated.”
Friend rejected by friend in TV show feels upset – shocker!
“I thought she would be a true friend and support me but she’s been ignoring my calls and has blocked me on Facebook.
She even called my mum the other day in Korea at 3am, telling her I’d betrayed her. I can’t believe she would do that - contacting my mum at three in the morning talking about how I’d betrayed her. It’s awful.”
And so Jasmin not only gets to fails but gets to look bitter, too. It just keeps getting better for Janet (“Janine!” Yeah, right…)
“Our friendship has been torn apart by Britain’s Got Talent.”

Sue was totally right to make such decision. It’s a EXTREMELY RARE opportunity for her!!! If you’re saying Sue’s a backstabber, then say what should she do??? Reject the great chance from the show and come back home with that “best” friend??? Loosing the once-in-a-lifetime chance because her “best” friend “would get mad” at her????
When your best friend made a success but u couldn’t, support him or her, ‘coz that’s what best-friends should be, not like Janine. She’s the worst type of friend can be!

A true friend would encourage the other to succede where she has failed. Jealously and spite has no place in true friendship. Friendship is not just that if one partner goes down, that the other must follow. Hell no, this is the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Sue. If she were my best and only friend, I would tell her, “Go for it girlfriend” and back her up 100%. Or would you feel better in that you had taken away the one opportunity for your friend just because you were not selected and that you could not handle the truth that you are not on equal levels of talent. Janice, don;t be so self-centered, be a true friend and support Sue.

You lot make me laugh! Sue betrayed her friend, not the the other way around. As soon as fame and fortune came winging her way, she dropped Janine like a hot potato. Yes, Sue has a right to grab her chance for fame and fortune but then Janine has every right to be hurt and upset. She is only human. Sue should change her name to Judas Son, because that is what she is, for 12 pieces of silver SHE betrayed her friend, not the other way around.
