Now I see why you westerners get scammed!
So the scammer sends you a check of $160,000 and says oops, sorry about that mate, my mistake, once you cash the check, can you kindly send $10,000 back via western union ASAP? You are stunned by the check and you think, can this really be true? You pay the check into your account and by the 3rd day the check ‘clears’, you send $10,000 back to the scammer and keep your $150,000 loan.
2 weeks later you get the call from your bank, and the FBI at your door:
Hello sir, the check you lodged 2 weeks ago is a counterfeit checked and it has been rejected at clearly, you must refund the $160,000 we provisionally paid into your account.
Assuming you have not spent the money, you have $150,000 in your account, but you have been scammed of $10,000.
Think, dont be stupid. Scammers are professionals. DO NOT RESPOND.
