Stockholm police were called out to a local beach on Monday after a tip off that the kidnapped British girl Madeleine McCann had been spotted there.
How did she get there from Australia? Earlier in the week, Our Maddie was spotted in Byron Bay…
The tip off was by a father who believed that he had seen the missing Madeleine McCann at Flatenbadet in the southern Stockholm suburb of Bagarmossen, according to the Expressen newspaper.
A father.
This is significant. Because “as a father…” Os it was her?
“It was an Alva or Ylva who was out with her grandmother. So the police patrol left the scene without getting involved,” Joakim Caryll at Stockholm police said to the newspaper.

Looks like it’s just you and me.
Just dropped in to point out that some people have difficulty in differentiating the Australian and Irish accents, the former partially deriving from the latter.
My real point being, why start a huge hunt in Australia just because of one man’s perception, two years after the event, that the woman in Barcelona was from Australia? Especially when the man in question - apparently - could have - possibly- saved Maddy at the time but decided to sit on the info till now.
Maybe Poshwoman was Irish to be sure.
