Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Join The Green Jet Set
BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie travel by private jet again. As Anorak’s Man in the Hollywood Swamp notes:
A private seat that consumed something in the neighbourhood of 400 gallons of fuel for each person onboard. As opposed to the 125 gallons per passenger that a loaded Boeing 777 would have consumed.
This is, of course the same Brad Pitt who supports Global Green, whose mission is:
“…to reduce greenhouse gas emmissions.”
And what of Angelina Jolie, billed on Greenist website The Renewable Planet as:
…the first UNCA Citizen of the World by the U.N. Correspondents Association and the Global Humanitarian Action Award from the U.N. Association of the USA and the Business Council for the United Nations?
Well, the UN-she is also outside the rules because:
She’s not directly an advocate for energy conservation per se, and she’s been seen driving SUVs when in the U.S., but her focus on helping others more than makes up for it.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – they come to worship you. Look up to the skies!
They are not like you:

What? Brad PItt is not a good role model. He had an affair, smoked hash until just recently, says he doesn’t believe in God, and you people wonder why they say they are FOR Global Greening, but totally disregard every aspect of it. Just like everything else in life, both of these individuals have taken honors, and then said to heck with what I SHOULD do - I will just do what I want, and say what I want, knowing there are people that for some insane reason worship them both.
Oh well. What do they really have to look forward to in the end? If Brad doesn’t believe in God, then he has no hope for a future that God promised all those loving him would be reunited again. He must feel pretty empty to have no rules to follow. He is just going by his own judgement, and the Bible clearly says Man cannot even direct his own steps. I am sorry Brad Pitt feels the way he does. He let us all know this from his mouth. I am not certain, but I think Quinton said just recently Brad had brick of Hash in the begining talks of Inglorious. That’s even a bit harsher than regular mary jane. He even told us he doesn’t believe in God.
What’s up with him? Why can’t he just be normal like he used to be?

To save even more fuel, I can stay on the Isle o’ Wight and we’ll do it by video link!

Look, I lied about the tree, the children and the future. Lets stop this now before it gets out of hand.

Hello and Greetings from Mill Valley, Ca.
I drive a Toyota, recycle and dry my clothes in fresh air exclusively (I love the smell) I am against noise pollution of all types. I love to walk, it saves on gas quite a bit. I sometimes wash and reuse my sandwich bags many times. I am very much against styrofoam and try not to use it, I prefer cardboard for my to-go boxes. I do not appreciate those who waste food. I grow my own rosemary, thyme, oregano, tarragon and dill. You should try my pasta salad and apple pie sometime. Talk about home-cooking. Oh Baby, Baby, Laurie B

Thank you June. Reduce, re use, recycle. All these wealthy famous people leave HUGE carbon footprints, whether it’s the oil used to make DVDs,CDs, etc, the fuel they use in their excessive lifestyles, the wood needed for the books and papers they sell or just the vast amount of shite they almost certainly buy. But they then have the nerve to tell US what to do. And that’s what annoys me the most!!
I love that film Team America (World Police) for sending up actors so much, and Pseuds’ Corner in Private Eye of course.
Shut Up, I am 100 times better than Sting, Brad and Angelina rolled into one. If only everyone had my morals.

Well stop bleating and bow then, shut up!
Seriously though what makes the 3 you mention such wonderful beings? their wealth and fame? the way they spend some of it? or most of it and what does Humanity gain from them?
Dr Egghead may not be so wealthy, but he doesn’t need cameras rolling to record every action of largesse

Hey Egghead, woopty doo, you drive a “small engined car (ha)”, recycle & are a vegetarian???? wow - compared to Brad & Angelina you are Jesus come back to save the earth!! Congratulations, you are amazing, you should pat yourself on the back and marvel at what a worthy & superior human being you are - so much better than Sting or Brad & Angelina.

Oprah..Donald Trump..has a private plane so do many celebs..Why are Brad and Jolie singled out..Could it be that as a writer, you wouldn’t get your article published if it weren’t for the Brad and Jolie’s high profile?

Whoever wrote this must be on Jenny payroll!!
Tell your Boss..Give up..It has been over 5yrs..Move on..Please!!

Shut up, I drive a small engined car, I recycle and I’m a vegetarian. So you shut up, shut up. What have you done?

I planted a tree yesterday. There is no way I will live to see it come to maturity. I planted it for the future. Who was it who said “I believe that children are the future”.
How right they were.

I wonder what all you ppl judging have done for your community or even your family members lately - probably nothing, at least you’re feeling better about yourself when you judge other ppls lives, so that’s something!!
August 17th, 2009 at 8:28 pm
I’m sure they could book the entire first class section of a jumbo if they wanted to for the cost of a private jet. I’ve got no time for these celebs who tell the rest of us what to do eg Sting who asked us all to save the rain forest whilst he flew by Concorde or any number of popstars who tell us to be green but have huge stage sets with massive entourages that have to be flown around the world.
Arseholes, all of ‘em.

If they flew commercial the airport would be jammed up, the other passengers would be unhappy because there is no way on an international flight you will keep 6 children under the age of 8 quiet for that length of time, and the paparazzi would harass the kids all the way through the trip and at both airports.
On the other hand I do feel that Brangelina are total hypocrites, because they try to use the media to promote helping their causes, then Brad complains when some people criticize him and say he isn’t a good role model, when he is the one that puts himself in the media spotlight. At least they are doing a better job of keeping the kids away from the paparazzi lately, I think the twins have only been captured on film in public like once in the last year.

Always all the time snide. Better than looking to the overall picture like in16/18 people entourage aboard a commercial air line ? 6 kids, et al/ Wouldn’t we all enjoy that hallabaloo for 11 hours.? In LA a SUV? Why not two or three Prius (?), eh?
Why wouldn’t they just leave all the kids here?
