“My few skills and talents seem far too mediocre to exhibit on the plinth, and any passionate causes suddenly feel a little too half hearted to canvass the world with. However this is quite an occasion, so I do have some semblance of a plan. I will not be throwing sweets, talking on a mobile phone or doing anything with balloons. Largely my hour will be about playing dress-up, and ultimately using my body as an alternative canvas. Women are under more and more pressure to conform to an ideal body shape and I firmly believe that a strong, healthy female body is so much more attractive than a size 0 physique.”
