Geisy Arruda And Brazil’s War On The Mini Skirt, Video
THAT’S Brazilian student Geisy Arruda, aged 20, being heckled and roughed-up by students at Sao Paulo’s Bandeirante University for the heinous crime of going equipped in a mini skirt.
This is a big deal in Brazil, home of the prude. So big is the issue that as students chanted “whore” police coved Ms Arruda in a big white coat and spirited her away.
The university then expelled her for a “flagrant lack of respect for ethical principles, academic dignity and morality”.
Ms Arruda duly gets loads of attention and appears on the telly, dressed – indeed – in her miniskirt.
