X FACTOR results show: with aerated Stacey Solomon, contagious Olly Murs, Danyl Johnson with a ‘y’, ‘young Cliff Richard’ Joe McElderry and non-dancing, barely singing Lloyd Daniels.
“Don’t feel like dancing,” they sang. Danyl Johnson danced. Olly Murs danced. The others took the song as a confessional.
The show needs more padding than Simon Cowell’s face now there are only five singers left, so we get lots of walk and talk pieces to camera from the judges. Joe seems the favourite. But who goes?
Before that Alicia Keys sang live. She also played a piano. She was in tune with her band, who had real instruments that didn’t need a computer programme to make them work. Her backing singers sang and moved better than anything previously seen on the X Factor. We saw talent.
Then Rihanna appeared and did an impresison of Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct and did not appear to be singing live. Then Simon Cowell slipped walking down a stage. It’s the most original thing he’s done on the X Factor - ever.
The Lloyd Daniels got voted off - and the scales fells over our eyes.

THe x factor lot were the ones that mimmed. they lip synched the song that they did. probably because none of them can sing in falsetto comfortably live. They are all so bad. Joe is the only one in tune most of time and he’s just a show singer.

Alicia Keys was phenomenal……..pure and un-adulterated talent. She writes, plays, sings and ‘performs’ her songs flawlessly, looking sexy at the same time!!

with all due respect it was obvious her singing was live cos not every not was perfect, so she clearly wasnt lip synching.
