Arsenal Enforcer Emmanuel Frimpong Slaps Jack Wilshere On Twitter: Good Riddance To Samir Nasri

by | 24th, August 2011

WHILE Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger attempts to take the pressure off his young players by telling media that beating Udinese in the Champions’ League is “not critical,” the Gunners’ teenage midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong assures the manager that he can handle himself.

Granted, after being at the club for nine years, 19-year-old Frimpong managed to get himself sent off on his home Premier League debut – an old head does not come quick. But his attitude to his team-mate Jack Wilshere’s tweet to the departing Samir Nasri is on the right lines:

Wilshere tweeted:

“Good luck to my friend @Nanas08 (mr Nasri) learnt a lot from him. World class player! Will be missed!”

Arsenal fans may well groan. An ovation for the greedy want away player who went for the Manchester City million over stepping up in and fighting for Arsenal is not what’s required. He will not be missed. He was disruptive.

Frimpong Tweets:

“Pfffff come on Jack.”

Ok. It’s not much. But Arsenal fans will take all the encouragement that the pink flow is a rosy-fingered dawn and not the back of long departed glories…
