Madonna chides Karl Lagerfeld over Adele comments

by | 12th, March 2012

MADONNA is a woman who has courted controversy for gain in the past, just like a stream of celebrities have done before and since. However, she’s obviously feeling a bit sensitive at the moment, taking time about to lambast controversial fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.

See, Karl recently said that Adele was ‘a little too fat’. Now, of course, he also said that she had a ‘divine voice’. We’re not sure which is more debatable. She is clearly ‘a little fat’ and her voice is… well… ‘often in-tune but quite often bellowed and abrasive’.

Of course, you may disagree about that summary of her voice, but surely no-one can disagree that Adele’s carrying a bit of timber. And no, you’re the one assuming that this is a criticism. Just because we’ve mentioned it, doesn’t mean we’re saying its a bad thing. You’re jumpier than Madonna.

That’s right, Madonna has become the latest star to condemn the Chanel fashion house head, describing the comments as ‘horrible’ and ‘ridiculous’ – adding that she thinks Adele is a ‘great talent’.

“That’s horrible,” said The Material Girl. “That’s ridiculous, that’s just the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. I don’t like it when anybody says anything bad about anyone – I don’t like it. Adele’s a great talent and how much she weighs has nothing to do with it.”

“The thing for Adele to remember is at the end of the day, whether you rise or fall, it has so much to do with how you sustain yourself and keep your integrity and your inner strength. It is all about who you surround yourself with – friends and people who really do care about you, and care about your well-being beyond being a superstar. That’s the most important thing.”

BUT ADELE IS A BIT OVERWEIGHT, JUST LIKE MADONNA IS A BIT OLD! CUH!
