Jimmy Savile swept girls off their feet, like Bill Wyman and Jeremy Forrest?
MORE paedophile news in the Daily Mail, where Richard Kay looks beyond Megan Stammers - the Mail compared the 15-year-old’s alleged abduction to France by her 30-year-old maths teacher, Jeremy Forrest, to organised child rape in Rochdale – and Jimmy Savile’s alleged sex crimes against children to ask:
Can Mandy Smith, the 13-year-old girl seduced by Rolling Stone Bill Wyman, boost her Appeal?
Seduced?
Almost three decades after Mandy Smith, then a 13-year-old schoolgirl, was swept off her feet by wrinkly Rolling Stone Bill Wyman…
Just as, presuambly, Forrest swept Stammers off her feet and, as is alleged, Savile swept lots of young ladies off theirs?
PS: There is no evidence to suggest that Wyman was having underage sex with Mandy Smith.

You say there’s no evidence that Bill Wyman had underage sex with Mandy Smith. She states in her autobiography that he did. I don’t think she tells the whole truth about everything in that book but there can’t be much doubt about this. There is also strong circumstancial evidence. What would a man in his 40s want out of a relationship with a young teenager if it was not sex? It wasn’t her maturity, common sense, intellectual conversation or experience.
Forrest has behaved very badly and irresponsibly. He has breached his duty of care. But if he was seriously thinking of giving up his job to work in French bar, maybe he was not a bad man but a foolish one who was genuinely in love.
Savile, on the other hand, seems to have forced himself on an unknown number of people. There was no romance or emotion in it. Even Anthony Clare said that he seemed to be a man without feeling. His local paper in Leeds now carries stories of his groping female patients at a Leeds hospital where he was a volunteer. One of them was said to be paralytic as she was coming round from neurosurgery. That’s not exactly being swept off your feet.
