Wick teen flushed school goldfish to set them free toward the sea
KEVAN Fraser, 17, told Wick Sheriff Court that he flushed down the toilet goldfish belonging to Lybster Primary School in Caithness so that they could make their way to sea.
He says he is unaware of how the the sewage system worked.
This is damning indictment on our education system. Sewage works by delivering all effluent to overseas abbatoirs, where pet goldfish are turned into ‘beef burgers’.
Fraser was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid community service.

Wick breeds them tough.
It’s alleged when local drug kingpins have an import safely in, fireworks are set off to announce the good news.
The Far North Woodentops are claimed to be astute enough to stay in Barracks till well after the late evening rush.
Hence the expression:
“Light Wick and the Blues retire”
