West Sussex local news special: triple-ladder saves trapped mum and daughter

by | 10th, October 2013

ladder sussexLOCAL news story of the week was found in the West Sussex County Times. Reporter DW Nye enlarges in the headline:

“Mother and daughter freed from Horsham bathroom”

A mother and daughter have been freed from their own bathroom after becoming locked in this morning (Tuesday October 8).

Mum and daughter bonding over the unguents?

Firefighters were called to the second floor flat in the Bishopric, Horsham, at around 9.40am.

And…

The crew used a triple extension ladder and small tools to gain access to the bathroom via a window.

Local council tax payers can rest easy. The investment in that triple extension ladder was a shrewd one. But the small tools sound cheap.
