THE one thing that unifies pretty much everyone of a certain age is a healthy curiosity of Sienfeld. If you watched it when it was new, at the time, it was incredibly confusing. No-one really knew what was going on, what it was about or why it was there. But we loved it all the same.

And now, it is all set to come back and it’ll probably make no sense in 2014 either.

The rumours that bandied around recently, it transpires, are true and we’re promised that it will arrive on the small screen ‘very very soon.’

“It’s a secret project,” Jerry Seinfeld said during an interview on the “Boomer & Carton” radio show Thursday.

The rumours kicked off after Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, who played George Castanza, and the show’s creator, Larry David, were spotted at Tom’s Restaurant in New York City. The diner just so happens to be the setting for the coffee shop that the cast frequented on the series.

Of course, there was a reunion of sorts on Curb Your Enthusiasm, but this will be different and, we’re told, definitely not a Super Bowl commercial.

The plot thickens.
