Long gone are the days when newspapers answered questions. Now it’s just about joining a conversation or and this dread phrase is borrowed from modern political life joining the debate. The Guardian wonders if Cavani is leaving the ‘hell’ of being paid millions of euros a year to kick a ball in Paris to earn milions of pounds for kicking a ball in London.

Cavani is so sad in the French capital, that according to L’Equipe, his eyes no longer sparkle but £55m of Wenger’s finest will no doubt put that right in January.
