DO we belive a Westminster paedophile ring operated in the 1960s and 1970s? Do we believe there was murder?

Martin Evans:

Scotland Yard is looking at claims that an alleged paedophile ring with links to former government figures, could have been involved in a murder

Any facts?

Detectives investigating allegations of organised child sex abuse in the 1970s and 1980s are now examining possible murder links, the Metropolitan Police has said.

The good old Met, what are they looking for?

Officers working on Operation Fairbank, which was launched to investigate allegations that a paedophile ring with links to government operated more than 30-years ago, have now uncovered information regarding a possible murder.

They have now launched a new strand of the investigation called Operation Midland, but have said the inquiry is still in its very early stages.

Scotland Yard speaks:

“Over the past month, detectives working on Operation Fairbank within the Met’s Specialist Crime and Operations have been made aware of allegations concerning serious non-recent sexual abuse, said to have occurred over 30 years ago. Our inquiries into this, over subsequent weeks, have revealed further information regarding possible homicide. Based on our current knowledge, this is the first time that this specific information has been passed to the Met.”

If the police drag this on long enough maybe the alleged killer paedoes will all be dead by the time they get to review any evidence? After, all, Sir Jimmy Savile and Sir Cyril Smith were buried with their dirt. Dead men are always guilty. No need for a trial.

The entire expedition is fact free.

But in the panic to look enlightened, Home Seceretary Theresa May says ‘There might have been a cover-up”. No evidence. Nothing has been found. But keep looking. Find something.

Labour MP Simon Danczuk is now an expert and bringer of justice:

“I’m certain there were other politicians involved as well as Cyril as part of a paedophile network. Whether the full truth of this eventually emerges will ultimately depend on the courage of the political classes and the authorities. Let’s hope some good men and women are prepared to do something about it.”

No evidence. No trials. He just knows.

Operation Fairbank was launched in response to information passed on by MP Tom Watson, who used Prime Minister’s Questions in 2012 to air claims that there was a paedophile ring with links to Number 10. Mr Watson used parliamentary privilege to allege that a file of evidence used to convict Peter Righton of importing child pornography in 1992 contained “clear intelligence” of a sex abuse gang.

He wrote to Scotland Yard, which has since spawned two more inquiries from Fairbank – Fernbridge, which is looking at claims linked to the Elm Guest House in Barnes, south west London, in the 1980s, and Cayacos.

If this investigation is to be worth anything, it needs to be fast and lead to an arrest and trial. Otherwise it’s not criminals who are being investigated, it’s the evil past being looked at by today’s moralisers…
