Watch Robin Van Persie’s inner child cry for Manchester United
When Robin Van Persie was asked whey he was leaving Arsenal for £240,000 a week at Manchester United, the Dutch footballer replied:
“I always listen to the little boy inside of me in these situations – when you have to make the harder decisions in life. What does he want? That boy was screaming for Man United.”
Two years alter and Van Persie is out of Manchester United. He’s listened to that child again, and this time’s it’s told him to collected in excess of £200,000 a week to play for Fenerbahce.
That inner child places a high value on pocket money.
