Judge says AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd is no great loss to music

The judge turned critic at the trial of Phil Rudd, the AC/DC drummer sentenced to eight months’ home detention by a New Zealand court for threatening to kill and possessing drugs.

Judge Tom Ingram responded to defence lawyers’ pleas that without Rudd AC/DC were less, by opining: “Queen replaced Freddie Mercury.”

But perhaps the biggest laugh was scored by Rudd who as he left court told a reporter “to get a f*****g job pal, get a real job”.

So said the drummer…

AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd, 60, is accused of attempting to hire a hitman to murder two people.

Rudd, an Australian, been charged in New Zealand, where he lives.

AC/DC Introduce Range Of Highway To Hangover Wines

FIRST Cliff Richard and now AC/DC. One day all hard rockers and harder livers will have their own range of wines.

One day , when drugs are legalised, Keith Richards can bring his range of pre-rolled spliffs to the marketplace. and Pete Doherty can reawaken and rebrand the Humphrey straw.

For now, though, we look at AC/DC The Wine. You can choose from Highway to Hell cabernet sauvignon, Back in Black Shiraz, Hells Bells sauvignon blanc, and You Shook Me All Night Long moscato (“perfect for lady rock fans”). This is refreshingly unpretentious booze. The novelty wines are “styled for maximum enjoyment, whilst working your way through your catalogue of AC/DC albums”.

Quadriplegic Speared In AC/DC Mosh Pit

1817628SAD news from the mosh pit at AC/DC’s concert at the Queensland Sport and Athletic Centre, where a quadriplegic man has been injured. In the excitement, his friend caught the joystick of his motorised wheelchair. The man sent at speed thorugh the “caution tape” into the mosh pit.

It gets worse. The quadriplegic used a metal pin to move objects. This imbedded in his eye.
