DERRICK Bird is not just a mass murderer and a way to market a Giles Coren book, he’s a opportunity for a press release about the Singing Kettle. It’s a good day to promote bad news, allegedly.
FIFE’S favourite childrens’ entertainers were caught up in this week’s horrific shootings in the Lake District.
The press release has led to a story in Fife Today:
Members of the Singing Kettle were on their way to the Civic Hall in Whitehaven for a 2 p.m. show when news broke of the tragedy which saw a gunman open fire on dozens of people in various locations in the area, starting in Whitehaven.
Are The Kettle ok?
Artie Trezise said: “We are all still in shock. It’s been horrendous for the town and our sympathies go to all the families affected by this. There were police and ambulances everywhere. The locals can’t believe what has happened.”
