The Sun : Full of life, just 2 days from death

Lyndsey Haywood says:

HE looks in incredible form strutting his stuff on stage — but two days later Michael Jackson was dead.

You can tell a lot from a stylised picture. But if the picure lies, then the words back up the notion that Jackson was on top form:

A source who watched Jacko’s final rehearsal in LA said: “Michael was in better form than for years. He was preparing for what would have been an absolutely incredible show. He was laughing and joking with his dancers. He seemed to have so much energy — it’s hard to believe that 48 hours later he was dead.”

The show will go on ! But what’s Jackson’s secret?

The Sun : Jacko blew £30k a month on drugs

DESPERATE Michael Jackson was spending £30,000 a month on prescription drugs, it was reported yesterday.

The ailing Thriller star was said to have consumed “mountains of medication” as he battled numerous disorders in the year leading up to his death.

So you can take drugs and look terrific. Like these fine people .

Daily Mail : Who was buying drugs for Jacko? Minder at centre of probe as police find prescriptions in different names.”

The mystery over Michael Jackson’s death took a dramatic new turn last night after police began tracing the trail of drugs believed to have killed him.

Prescriptions appear to have been written in several different names – those of members of his entourage.

This raises the prospect that the 50-year-old singer set up an illegal supply chain to satisfy a dependency on painkillers that his doctor would not prescribe.

Or that he was keen to avoid headlines like “Jackson has Thrush!” Such are the facts.

Daily Mirror : Michael Jackson death was foul play Joe Jackson

Joe, 80, said that Jacko seemed to be in robust health hours before he died as he chatted to fans at the gates of the house he was renting in Los Angeles.

He added: “He was waving to everybody and telling them he loves them and all the fans at the gate.

“A few minutes after Michael was out there, he was dead. Michael was dead before he left the house. I’m suspecting foul play somewhere.”

Adding:

“I have a lot of concerns. I don’t like what happened.”

Whodunnit?

Daily Star : JACKO’S KIDS: MAFIA PAL IS REAL DAD

POP idol Michael Jackson’s three children face new heartache after their mum claimed the tragic singer is not their father.

Jacko’s second wife Debbie Rowe has said that he did not father her kids Prince Michael I, 12, and Paris, 11.

The Star echoes the News of the World’s scoop the one that that Debbie’ Rowe’s lawyer says was a fake and the NOTW has removed from its websites.

And in another blow, a restaurateur with alleged mob links has said that he is the real dad of Jacko’s youngest son, Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket.

Al Malnik was dubbed “heir apparent” to former Mafia kingpin Meyer Lansky.

Was dubbed? Now what’s he dubbed? Daddy? The Trustee?

He claims he secretly fathered the child with a mystery mother for Jackson and also made the singer a series of substantial loans.

So Malik is the dad? Any proof, other then the “fake” interview and the claims?

As our pictures of Jacko, right, show, Paris bears an incredible resemblance to Malnik’s own daughter by his wife Nancy. Jacko gave “special thanks” to Malnik on the cover credits of his “Greatest Hits” album.

Malnik said: “I’m the one who saved Michael from bankruptcy and, in return, he said he would name me executor of his will.  I was a father figure to Michael and now I intend to be a father figure to the son who is rightfully mine.”

But no proof is offered . The Star bows its head and wrings its hands:

Meanwhile, Jacko’s manager Frank DiLeo has revealed that the grim task of telling the three children about their dad’s death fell to him.

While the Star has the joyous task of telling readers the children were
