Flexetarians Are Meat-Eating Vegetarians
IN the forums, Yampster writes of the rise of the Flexetarians -”Coined to describe Vegetarians who ermmmm eat meat”
I am a baconsarniarian. I prefer to eat bacon sarnies. If there are no bacon sarnies available I will eat other meats and occasionally, some vegetables. Purely for health reasons of course
Q. What is the best thing to put on a Bacon Sarnie
A. More bacon

Like that Carob stuff you mean? Can you still buy that? Or “Mock Duck”? Which as a bit like chewing on elastic bands if memory serves. I actually buy very little “veggie” stuff save the odd pack of McCartney sausages if they’re cheap (or I’m in Iceland).
Must cut down on the dairy stuff meself. Am far too heavy at the mo’

I eat very little dairy now, creeping towards veganism slowly but surely though can’t imagine giving up chocolate!
Vegan chocolate is just so NOT chocolate!
Like the veggies who eat fish maybe I’ll be a vegan who pigs out on milk-chocolate.

Found this link, a theory that cows are injected with a certain chemical to boost milk production also increases the risk of breast cancer, and the drugs used to treat it stop the…… http://www.vegsource.com/articles/breast_cancer.htm.
Its a known fact that red meat does increase the chances of breast cancer and there are other factors to consider, such as high levels of the cancer in the family.
Increasing vegetable servings by small amounts daily do appear to decrease the risk.
Its difficult to ascertain as most vegetarians choose vegetarianism as a life style as adults, when the trigger to develop cancer may have already been set.
But the general view is that they don’t really know.
Try googling breastcancer/vegetarianism and a whole lot of links show up

My Mum has reduced her dairy intake to virtually nil after discovering a possible link between breast cancer and vegetarianism ( I suppose we eat more cheese and stuff). Haven’t got any links but I’m sure one can google it.
Dairy, spot on about my friend. Are you a mind reader?

You are quite right C&C I can’t eat potatos because I had a Mr Potato Head when I was a kid. I cry each time I see mashed spuds on the menu. So many old friends. Sob!

Someone I know was planning the menu for last christmas and bought ‘duck’ as her son’s new girlfriend was vegetarian. Logic of that was that they swim.
I didn’t ask her if she wanted to see pics of a duck battery farm.
I’m a good veggie who never comment! .
And the times I get asked… do you eat chicken? fish? No no no. If its got a face or a mother I don’t eat it. Seafood then? aarrgghh.

…no, the only thing they breed is stupidity…
Graeme - she is obviously one of those who just gets off on the riding aspect and pretends to look away in disgust as the poor animal is torn limb from limb…
I know several vegetarians who either eat fish or eat white meat but not red….
it’s a nice little grey area for them to inhabit….

I’m surprised that there’s any left or is it one of those hunts that has its own fox breeding programme?
November 6th, 2009 at 11:40 am
I work with a vegetarian who goes fox hunting. Stupid cow.
I was going to protest at the Isle of Wight Hunt (many inbred fuckwits get pleasure from killing small creatures over here) but can’t make it sadly.
Suppose that makes her a huntarian. As well as a bitch.
