Geoff Hoon and Patricia Hewitt have issued a letter attacking Gordon Brown. They want him out.
Labour is fighting among itself for any hope that they can oust Brown and retain power. Brown is a stubborn cove and won’t go anywhere.
He will demand loyalty and the weak and desperate will give it to him. And against him stands – oh, dear – a would-be doctor’s receptionist and a man with all the profile of a streamrolled spoon.
They are doomed.
