Iran fires its faked missiles at Star Wars
PHOTOSHOPPED image of the day is featured in Iran’s Mehr News Agency, where the headline story “Iran’s missile program no threat to Europe, U.S.: French official” is illustrated by this photo of loads of helter-skelter ballistic missiles. Boy, those rockets have multiplied since their 2008 unveiling. Back then, the obvious photoshopping was spotted and lampooned. One parody featured a familiar face, that of Star Wars character Jar Jar Binks.
While we may sneer at the fakery, the date of the story’s publication points to something other than Iran’s usual macho jingoism. It was published on May the Fourth. That’s international Star Wars day, as in May The Fourth Be With You. (Iran also marks every July as International Don’t Trut a Jew Day.)
Might it be that MNA, affiliated to the Tehran Times, is a Star Wars fan? And if it is, does the paper know that’s it on the wrong side, like the Nazi who spotted the runes, skulls and death and suddenly realised he was the baddie?
Will the Dark Side see the light..?

1, Iran stands no chance against NATO – if you dispute this please provide some evidence. my estimation is amongst other things based upon NATO defence spending making up more than 55% of total Global Defence expenditure in 2011, compared to Iran, which spends only 1.025% of the USA budget alone.
So please explain how this country that has almost no force projection, no blue water navy, is a serious threat to NATO?
Yes in 10 years or so they may develop missile technology that would enable to strike Europe, but the resulting comeback would be the death of Iran.
So not exactly sure what would motivate them to do so, As launching an attack on Europe or the US would do little more for Iran than bring a swift and lethal end to the Islamic Revolution, something i’m pretty sure the Government there would want to avoid.

Now i’m not sure how stating that Iran has (by global standards) a fairly pathetic millitary is pro-iran. But then i’m not a hyper paranoid zionist.

Oh yes, and this brings me nicely up to the whole, they are going to dump enriched Uranium into the sea.

Because Iran has alot to gain from getting a bomb, not using it, and using the fact that it is now a nuclear power to take control of OPEC raise oil prices and allow itself to increase production.

and I know as unlikely as it may be, that the west and it’s media will use the spectre of WMD’s to justify action against an oil rich middle eastern arab country, which is making a power play to get more money for it’s oil.

Not one word of your rant was factual, provable or even slightly logical. Israel is sending out mixed signals regarding their assesment of Irans nuclear bomb making programs progress in order to confuse the Iranians as to Israels own intentions. Had it not been for Arik Sharon & then Ehud Olmert being so busy ethnicaly cleaning Jews from Gaza whilst George Bush was in office , then Israel would have allready dealt a crushing blow to Iran back then, but now with Hussein Obama in the White House, Natanyahu is unable to get US support for a military strike on Iran despite Irans nuclear program having advanced almost to the point of no return. I stand by inteligence based assesments that Iran has plans to dump nuclear material off the coast in order to cause mass deaths from radiation poisoning

the NATO vs Iran war will last roughly 100 hours, should Nato decide not to use it’s own nuclear or missile technology.
Were the military to be given no holds bar access to the shiny kit (withholding nuclear) the war would be over in little more than a day.
Add the nuclear option and the war against Iran will last less than 90 minutes.

Yes that’s right despite Irans nuclear ambitions starting with the blessings of the USA and with help from the German company that is now siemens, It turns out that their initial purchase of 600 tonnes of Uranium Yellow cake, purchased from South Africa in the 70′s is pretty much all gone.
And now that this blessing is gone countries are not really all that keen to sell them more. Iran do have a few Uranium deposits in country but the numbers and industry required are not there to make full use of it.

You might have well have wrote that Nazi Germany wasn’t a threat to World Peace, because they said so & Chamberlin believed them!
Even without Missiles the Iranians have enough Nuclear Material to cause Mass Death by having one of their proxies Hamas or Hezbolah dump the radioactive material in the sea off the coast of Israel , the US or any EU state with a coastline
Time has run out , sanctions don’t work because Russia, China , Cuba, Venezuela, Pakistan & North Korea have actively helped circumvent them, the Only option left is the Military Option & but for Hussein Obama’s machinations , a US / Israel preventitive 1st strike would have neutralised the threat by now.

Awhile back when it first started to emerge that the Iranians were building a bomb someone asked the Israeli defence minster if he was worried, and his reply was brilliant (sadly have not been able to find on youtube)
