Israel fakes: BBC Gaza correspondent tweets old photo of dead child killed in Syria

JON Donnison is the “BBC Gaza and West Bank Correspondent”. It says so on his twitter account.
Having advertised his role at the BBC – and thus given his tweets substance – he adds “Views mine”.
He retweets a tweet by Hazem Balousha – “Palestinian Journalist & Social Activist… The Founder of Palestinian Institute for Communication & Development @PICD2 Palestine”.

Whoops! Still, no harm done. The story is that the Israelis like to kill children (the Jews most likely use the kids’ blood to make Passover crackers.)

dear old Hat quite regularly accuses me of being anti-semitic, usually when I have made an accurate point which he/she doesn’t want to have to answer, for fear of revealing the extent of the illogical hatred within. I had a right chuckle at the accusation of filibustering as well, something Mahatma does to perfection and ad nauseam…

Mr Man – no, not at all – I very rarely hate anyone unless they have personally done me harm. I tend to approach people as people and not by their national or religious definition, therefore I find that I like some Israelis/Jews and Palestinians/Muslims but loathe others. Same applies for any nationality.
I think that both sides are at fault in this particular conflict and neither has the right to the moral high ground. That’s why I get irritated by the likes of Mahatma banging on hysterically as if he/she is superior to everyone else.
There is a middle ground to be taken and in my opinion, that is where everyone should be concentrating their efforts, rather than ranting and raving to the world in general and attempting to wind people up and aggravating the situation.
If Mahatma really loved Israel, as he/she purports to do, then he/she would be looking to find a workable solution for peace going forward, not ramping up the ante and generally warmongering, which is unhelpful to say the least and very damaging at best.
These keyboard warriors are a pain in the arse and Real Stig sums up the situation perfectly in that they put people off from visiting the site – there are substantially fewer regulars on here since Mahatma came out of the woodwork. A cuckoo in the nest, as it were.
Should Mahatma put forward logical and sane proposals as to how this terrible conflict might begin to be solved, then others might be tempted to engage in the discussion, but as it is, nobody wants to talk to a narrow mind.

Mr. Man – I’m not sure which of dairy’s posts even begins to intimate that she hates jews. I’ve seen of eveidence of that and so your question is pretty much redundant. Hates Mrs Mah…. and her rantings well that’s a different kettle of fish altogether.
I’m no expert on this Arab/Jew thing and so was quite enthused by an article recently written by a certain Robert Fisk which seems to go some way to explaining the background of up-to-date issues.

Most posters on Anorak at least make an attempt to keep on the blogs subject, at least initialy, but when you & a few others turn up its always for the same purpose – to break the continuity of the thread by making personal insults, to start a fight & make false accusations you can’t back up. The biggest fake was the massacre that never was in Jenin. but this is a BBC expert taking the line of one side as fact. He failed to perform even a rudimentary check of the facts.Makes you wonder what he actual does – how he gets his leads. His tweets can’t be his won views – he puts his BBC credentials behind his name. He’s there as a civil servant employed by the State broadcaster.
