TRANSFER Balls: Having been linked in the media with a transfer from Barcelona to Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, the Telegraph brings news that Cesc Fabregas is wanted by…Chelsea. It was waaaay back on June 1, that the  Daily Telegraph   told readers:

Spain international will be allowed leave the Nou Camp with Manchester City now clear favourites to land the midfielder

Yesterday the Sun  chimed in with:

…he is still expected to exit his boyhood club in the coming months with Liverpool and Manchester United potential suitors.

Now Matt Law reports in the Tele :

Chelsea are ready to offer Cesc Fabregas the chance to become Frank Lampard’s long-term successor after Barcelona stepped up their interest in Koke.

Is the player interested in playing for Chelsea?

Fabregas is disappointed Arsenal have not shown any firm interest in him, but is willing to look at other options in the Premier League.

But thy might do. The facts are not all that clear. On June 1, the Daily Telegraph  stated:

That fat followed the paper’s previous fact of  May 22 :
