Azhar Ahmed of West Yorkshire given community order for offensive Facebook comment
ANTI-Free speech news of the day: Azhar Ahmed of W Yorkshire has been given a community order for posting an “offensive” message on Facebook after six UK soldiers died.
He wrote:
People gassin’ about the deaths of soldiers. What about the innocent families who have been brutally killed… The women who have been raped… The children who have been sliced up…! The enemy’s were the Taliban not innocent harmful familys. All soldiers should DIE and got to HELL. THE LOWLIFE FOKKIN SCUM! got a problem go and cry at your soldiers grave & wish them hell because thats is where she is going”

Azhar Ahmed – a stupid victim of the State’s racial prejudices
AZHAR Ahmed of Dewsbury, Yorkshire, is in the news. He’s been arrested and charged with a “racially aggravated public order offences” for commenting on Facebook:

For that odious, badly made point Azhar Ahmed has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence. How is it racist? Is it because Ahmed has an Easten name? Is bias and hate inherent in name – as Richard Imgram told Guardian readers:
I have developed a habit when confronted by letters to the editor in support of the Israeli government to look at the signature to see if the writer has a Jewish name. If so, I tend not to read it.
