Daily Sport Loses Its Head Story

THE new-look Daily Sport features an old-look headline: “Man saws own head off.”
Granted, we have not seen this headline before, and David Phyall had never before sawn his head off with a chainsaw until recently, if he did at all.
It’s more the outrageousness of the story, illustrated as it is by the front-page promise of “CAS LOSES HER BRA”.
One thing: we want to read on. And the Sport promises more on Page 7, where readers get to see “THE DAILY STRIPPER” and learn of a pub for sale for 1p.
There is no news of the headless man on Page 7, and it is believed the Sport’s man on the scene is waiting for a quote from the alleged victim….
