Murdered IRA Soldier Had Trial With Spurs

by | 10th, March 2009

SAPPER Cengiz Azimkar, 21, from Wood Green, London, was murdered by the self-styled Real IRA.

Returning to quarters in his bath chair, between his Pall Mall Clubs, Old Mr Anorak’s eyes met with the London Evening Standard seller’s board, which screamed:

“KILLED IRA SOLDIER HAD TRIAL WITH SPURS.”

Now mocked up for readers, we bring you the lead line to the story:

A London soldier shot dead by the Real IRA had trials with Tottenham Hotspur

Anorak can only say that if it works for Spurs, then so be it. Needs must. The Lily Whites are mired in a relegation battle and they need all the bodies they can get.

If manager Harry Redknapp’s transfer policy is good business then, again, so be it.

And what is Harry about if not lowering expectations and then exceeding them?
