TO the International House of Pancakes in Hallandale, Florida, where chef Ronald Neilly has accidentally sliced off a fingertip. Neilly is sent to hospital.

Nadine Robinson, 42, and daughter Ashley, arrive for some eats. She wants a fried chicken green salad. She has been to church. She is also served a “freshly severed finger tip that contained both freshly cut human flesh and blood“.

She bites into a substance with a “rubbery texture”. She “noticed that the unknown piece in her salad was the end of a finger tip which also had a piece of a finger nail attached to it”.

She does as all good Americans do and gets a lawyer. She wants over $15,000. Robinson’s lawyers had previously requested $18 million settlement for Nadine and her husband plus $2.5 million for the couple’s 14-year-old daughter. A trial awaits…
