When A Chinese Boy Gets Stuck In Washing Machine: Mum Calls State TV

by | 1st, December 2010

WHEN Chaofan, 3, got stuck in his mum’s washing machine Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, she did what anyone would do: she called the media.

Chinese state broadcaster CCTV arrived, as did three men in military uniform, another man in camouflage duds and another man with a circular saw. As Chaofan is cut free, one military man takes photos.

It’s all looks like a piece of propaganda, the boy being used to advertise the fact that the Chinese military are good sorts; you CAN fit a small boy inside a washing machine; and washing machines are common in China.

Look out for a response form the US white goods market as Obama’s administration sticks a five year old inside the domestic drum and then, in the pursuit of health, starves him out…
