Strange Animal Flies Into Windscreen In Cumbria: Photo

COMPETITION time now, readers. Can you guess what animal crashed into the windscreen of Sally Arnold car as she drive through Kendal, Cumbria?
Says she:
“Our first concern was for the welfare of what we suspected was an ****** and we opened up the window to check if it was still around. Fortunately, there was no sign of the ***** and we can only assume that it had flown away probably suffering from a headache.”
What we need is an expert’s opinion. It’s provided by Val Osborne, head of the RSPB’s wildlife inquiries team:
“This would have been very uncomfortable for the bird…”
Answer: a badger disguised dressed as Winnie the Pooh’s pal Owl.
