False Leg Makers Rejoice As GS4 Staff Tag Villain’s Prosthetic Limb

by | 30th, August 2011

IN what is being seen as a triumph for the false limb industry, two G4S staff placed an electronic tag on a felon’s false leg believing it was real.

Admittedly, Christopher Lowcock, 29, did swaddle his prosthetic limb in a bandage is readiness for the G4S workers’ arrival at his home in Rochdale. But that has more to do with his guile, criminal mind (is he a product of nominative determinism – or wishes to be?) and a lack of confidence in his false leg. His other leg is made of flesh and bone.

The option was for the G4S workers to dodge the bandaged limb and select leg B. But they were fooled. When they took hold of the false leg and held it in their hands they were fooled. When they returned to check on the tag, they were fooled.

As a result of this, Lowcock removed his false leg and broke the terms of his curfew. His leg remained compliant.

The G4S workers have been sacked.

The false leg industry is rejoicing…
