Lion spotted in Norfolk is a dog

CALL 911! A baby lion has been seen walking the streets of Norfolk, Virginia. A call to Virginia Zoo reveals that all local lions are accounted for.
This lion is called Charles the Monarch. He’s not a lion. He’s the cross between a Labrador retriever and poodle. CTM has been shaved to look like a lion, the mascot of Old Dominion University.
Owner Daniel Painter explains:
“I tell people he’s a Lab-a-lion, and half the people believe that.”
The other half wonder if a Lab-a-lion matches their curtains. Or should they go with toygers:
