Liverpool: Tiago Ilori’s departure from Anfield means 13 of the 24 players Liverpool signed from 2012-14 have either left the club permanently or are on loan.

Number 1: A record £870m waa spent by Premier League clubs this summer

Number 2:  After the Premier League, the next biggest spending league was Italy’s Serie A, with a gross spend of £405m.

Exports: £585m of the £870 was given to foreign clubs
